Pick a “B” for Blog Hop Day!

Welcome to the June 2017 Pals Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month’s theme, Pick a “B”, features projects inspired by Babies, Birthdays and Brides to name few. You may just get a glimpse of new catalog products while you hop with us today.
Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.
Is there anything sweeter than this Moon Baby stamp set? Do I hear an “aaaaaww!”? For my blog hop entry today I picked a B for Baby and created this card-in-a-bag project.
The bag is made using a Powder Pink sheet from the Fresh Florals DSP Stack and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.
I stamped the moon baby with Archival Basic Black ink onto watercolor paper, then used my Aqua Painter to color it in. I used Daffodil Delight for the moon and lamb, Powder Pink for the baby’s pajamas and the bunny, and Soft Sky around the moon image and for the bear. I sparkled up the stars on the inside card with Wink of Stella.
For the baby’s skin color, I diluted Powder Pink even more and did a quick wash of color on her face and hand. Then I dabbed a little more concentrated color on her cheeks.
I cut a star from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper to match the star on the stamp and glued it down.  I attached the Powder Pink ribbon with some Tear & Tape and adhered it to the back of the bag, brought it around and tied a bow.
The last step ~ the envelope. I used a 2-1/4″ x 6″ piece of left over DSP to cover the back flap.
All products will be listed below. Enjoy the Hop!
