Moroccan Thank You

Good Morning!  It’s Monday ~ a new week to enjoy.  I’m still basking in the glow of my trip to Atlanta a week ago!  It was so much fun.  My pre-order from the new upcoming Occasions Catalog came and again, I am a kid in the candy store 🙂

I think I’ve mentioned that we had a card swap at Brian King and Pam Morris’ event.  We took 51 cards that we made and swapped with 50 other people, so we came home with 50 new ideas and beautiful cards to use.  One caught my eye as the perfect style for a card I needed to make for this weekend.  The group that I traveled to Israel with last spring had a reunion party at my house last night and we presented our hosts with a gift.  I made the card (of course!) and everyone signed it to give to the host couple.  Here is the card ~

Do you recognize the style?  Who did I CASE this from???  Brian King, of course!  His signature layers and clean lines are very recognizable.  Here is his card~
Our tour hosts loved the card.  The Moroccan print reminded me of the tile work that we saw in Israel. I doubled up the Vanilla cardstock on the inside so everyone could write a message of thanks.
Thank you for checking out my post today.  Have a great week!
Karen
P.S.  Don’t forget that the Stitched Framelits are only available during the month of November.  They will come out in the next Annual Catalog, but who wants to wait till June!!!  There are several stamp sets that coordinate with these framelits on sale for 25% off during the month of November as well.
