Missing My Girl!

My daughter flew the coop (again!) to move to Madison, Wisconsin.  She is starting the Physical Therapy program there and will be at the University for three years.  I miss her so much!  She is getting acquainted with the area and all the differences from Northern California.  The humidity is crushing her (we don’t know humidity in CA) and I understand that it “isn’t even that humid yet!”  Oh dear!  I know a lot of you out there are mid-Westerners.  Does one ever get used to it???

So, her mail keeps piling up and I will be sending her a care package with her mail and some goodies.  And of course, I will put a card in the package!  I love this sentiment from Happy Happenings ~  It’s so appropriate ~

And the inside ~

I used my favorite new Designer Series Paper, Blooms and Bliss on this little 4″ square card.  The Island Indigo and Mint Macaron are so beautiful together.

The little horizontal stripe was made with Washi Tape from the Affectionately Yours collection.  I taped a piece over a strip of Whisper White to make the design more prominent.  The sparkly heart and the center of the flower on the inside are the Metallic Enamel Shapes in silver.

Miss her?  Only all the time!  But she is at a great school and will be getting into a wonderful profession, so as much as I miss her, this Mom is very proud!  Thanks for listening 🙂

Now, Happy Stamping!
