These little Mini Pizza Boxes are one of my favorite items in the 2017 Holiday Catalog! They measure 3-3/8″ square, so they are perfect for a set of six 3″ x 3″ mini cards. You will be able to order them beginning Sept. 1st. They are on page 44 in the catalog and come 8 to a package for $6. I know they are going to be a hot item, so order early!
On Wednesday, I shared with you my set of Painted Harvest 3 x 3 cards. See them HERE. This completes the gift with cards and decorated envelopes inside. So fun!
First, to decorate the box ~ I glued a 3-3/8″ square of Old Olive cardstock to the top of the white box, then glued a 3-1/8″ square of Painted Autumn DSP (available Sept. 1) on top of the Olive. This DSP is the same paper that I used to decorate the 3″ x 3″ envelopes for the cards.
Then I made a belly band with another paper from Painted Autumn DSP and wrapped it around the box and glued it together in the front.
I stamped the sunflower onto Whisper White cardstock with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie. I used Soft Suede for the center and cut the whole thing out with my Paper Snips. Then I sponged around the edges with Cajun Craze and curled up the edges slightly with my Bone Folder.
Next I punched two 1/8″ circle holes in either side of the flower center and threaded two strands of Linen Thread through the holes. I wrapped the thread around the box and tied a bow in the center. It holds the flower in place and the whole belly band piece just slips on and off to open the box.
This oh-so-cute box easily holds six 3″ x 3″ cards and envelopes! What an delightful gift!
This shows one of the envelopes that I used to decorate the envelope flaps. I used this paper on five of the cards, but the Pink and Berry Burst card looked best with a different paper (same DSP set) ~
