Hello again! It’s time for another Create with Stamping Friends challenge, this week a color challenge. I find the color challenges just a bit more difficult, simply because there are so many options that you can choose. I chose a Layers of Beauty anniversary card. Come take a look! Here’s the challenge board:

Last time I used this set, I tried the Decorative Masks that come with the bundle, and brushed on the color. See that card HERE. This time I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used my Blends to color it in. You definitely get a lot for your money with this bundle ~ stamps, dies, and masks (stencils). Here’s a look again at the bundle:

Card Details:
- Soft Sea Foam base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″ folded at 4-1/4″
- Soft Sea Foam layer, 5-1/4″x 4″, scored around all four edges at 1/4″ and 1/2″ with Paper Trimmer
- 7″ length of Iridescent 1/2″ Striped Trim
- Wrap the ribbon around the scored layer and secure with Stampin’ Seal on the back.
- Adhere this layer to the card base with Dimensionals.
- Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″, for floral image
- Stamp the large floral image from Layers of Beauty with Memento Tuxedo Black.
- Color it with Blends ~ Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, and Soft Sea Foam.
- Crop with coordinating die and glue to card front.
- Tiny tag from Layers of Beauty Dies and Basic White Cardstock
- Stamp on the tag with Petunia Pop ink.
- Secure to card front with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Add a bow with the Iridescent Striped Trim using a Glue Dot.
- To finish off, add three Opal Rounds embellishments.
On the inside, I stamped Happy Anniversary in Petunia Pop, then added a flower from the stamp set and colored it with Blends.
