I’m entering a card for the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge #234 today! I chose the middle, vertical row with Die Cut, Holly, and Wreath to make my Joy Wreath card. Here is the tttc board:
And here is my card:
I used a few different products to create my wreath. The one product I pulled out that hasn’t seen the light of day in a long time is my Wreath Builder Stencil by Gina K. I forgot how much fun it is to build a beautiful wreath with just a few stamps! Here’s what I used:
Stamping
- Sending Cheer for holly, Garden Green
- Sending Cheer for berries, Real Red
- Christmas Banners (retired) for fern boughs, Granny Apple Green
- Christmas Banners for small gold dots, Versamark Ink and Gold Emboss Powder
I stamped all of this using my Stamp Positioning Tool (Stamparatus, retired) and Gina K’s stencil, onto Basic White Cardstock, 3-3/4″x 3-3/4″ square.
Building the Card
- To the back of the white square, I glued two Real Red strips, 4″x 3/4″ to the top and bottom of the square, leaving 1/8″ showing on three sides.
- Next I glued that to a 4-1/4″ square piece of Garden Green Cardstock.
- Then I added two strips of Gold Foil, 4-1/4″x 1/4″ to the top and bottom of the green square.
- I glued all of that to a base of Garden Green Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4.”
“Joy”
This is a die cut set from Honey Bee, called “Joy.” I cut the word out of Real Red Cardstock and glued that to the shadow die cut with Vellum Cardstock. To the word “joy” I added a bow of Gold Simply Elegant Trim with a Glue Dot.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! I love a brightly colored card with pretty elements, and this fits that description nicely. Head over to the Tic,Tac,Toe Challenge site to see the rest of the entries!
Come by on Wednesday, when Rosanne and I will be sharing some Holiday Treats projects on CASEing Coast to Coast! See you then!
Surprise! I was picked Designer’s Choice for this card entry! Thank you TTTC Team for picking my card!

Haha, thanks Jeanie! I am going to keep mine busy for a while!
Such a beautiful wreath and really set off beautifully with the large ‘joy’ sentiment and that pretty gold bow. Thank you for coming to play at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week! Vicky x

Thanks, Betty!
Your card is beautiful Karen! Would that work for class on the 8th??
Thanks, Beth! It might work if someone else had the stamp sets to bring, so everyone doesn’t have to wait too long for the one set. I’ll give it some thought.
This wreath is just wonderful, Karen! I love the Gina K Wreath Builder. You’ve inspired me to dust mine off, too. The sentiment die cut is also a perfect addition. Beautiful holiday card!
Thanks, Rosanne! I’d forgotten how much fun it is to create a wreath with that stencil!
