It’s Your (40th) Birthday!

Do you have a color that you just can’t let go of?  This is mine – Midnight Muse.  I wish Stampin’ Up! would bring it back.  It was definitely one of my favorite In Colors.

Another birthday request…this time for a 40 year old man.  I originally envisioned 40 candles on this card, but could only fit 24!  Then the greeting covered up quite a few of them anyway, so I just left it at that 🙂

Midnight Muse, Marina Mist, Soft Sky, Tip Top Taupe, and Early Espresso are my colors for the candles.  The stamp set is Big News.  I cropped the 40th out with my Big Shot and framelits that I picked up from the Clearance Rack.  It’s a very simple layout – quick and easy, with the only time involved was the stamping with the random colors.  But fun!  I gave the flames a Wink of Stella (cool new glitter pen that comes out in the 2016 Occasions Catalog – Jan. 5th).

And on the inside, one quick stamp, “enjoy the fuss.”  And that is it!  What do you think?
