Impressions Abloom (for CSF 870)

Today’s color challenge at Create with Stamping Friends gave me the opportunity to play with my new Impressions Abloom Bundle! While Strawberry Slush and Old Olive seemed like natural flower colors, I was not sure what to do with Secret Sea. Time to play around!

Here’s the Challenge:

Here’s my card:

I was super intrigued by this large oval die in Impressions Abloom. There are two dies. One cuts the oval, the other cuts out a “frame.” Take a look at this fun Bundle ~

Other products I used include:
  • Secret Sea, Basic White, Strawberry Slush, and Old Olive Cardstock
  • Celebratory Sips DSP (the card front “frame”)
  • Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder
  • Secret Sea and Strawberry Slush Classic Stampin’ Pads
  • Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems

To give the flowers a little dimension, I brushed some Strawberry Slush ink in the centers with a Blending Brush then slightly curled the petals.

I lifted up the Secret Sea DSP from Celebratory Sips with Dimensionals for a very slight shadow box effect.
