Happy Birthday Fun Fold

I love Floral Delight DSP for bright and cheery cards! I have a Happy Birthday fun fold today that shows off one of my favorite florals. Is it forsythia? Maybe!

What makes this a fun fold? The center circle is on an arm that swings open to “unlock” the card!

It would be fun to sneak a special message under the circle where it is hidden until you open it! Why didn’t I think of that sooner?!

Now it’s open all the way with plenty of room to stamp some more, or write a lengthy message to the birthday gal or guy.

Recipe:

• Daffodil Delight Cardstock
  • For the base – 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • For the arm – 1″x 5″
  • And for the circle – 2-3/4″x 2-3/4″
• Old Olive Cardstock
  • For the layer – 5-1/4″x 4″
  • For the circle – 3-1/4″x 3-1/4″
• Basic White Cardstock
  • For the inside – 5-1/4″x 4″
  • For the sentiment – 4-1/8″x 1/2″
  • And for the stamping – about 5″x 2″
• Floral Delight DSP, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
