Fun Fold Friday – Daisy Delight

It’s pretty late in the day, and I’m guessing many of you won’t see this until Saturday morning, but it’s still Friday in California, so I’m going with “Fun Fold Friday!”

This is a Triple Panel Stand Up card and I am using more of my favorite – Delightful Daisy DSP. I first learned about this fun fold from Linda Heller.

Measurements ~

Calypso Coral:  8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 1-1/2″, 2-3/4″,  5-3/4″, and 7″.
DSP panels: (2) 5-1/4″ x 1-1/4″, and (1) 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″
Whisper White Cardstock (for back): 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″, and (for banner) 3-1/2″ x 1″

I stamped three large daisies onto Whisper White, using Peekaboo Peach stamped off once, then punched them out with the Daisy Punch. I offset-adhered them together with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I stamped a center with full strength Peekaboo Peach and punched it out with a 1/2″ Circle Punch. I glued it down and brushed it with Wink of Stella.

I cropped six leaves from Eclectic Layers Thinlits – three in Night of Navy and three in Wisteria Wonder. I positioned them together so that just a little Navy peeks out. I started with just the Navy and it completely overpowered the card, so I layered the Wisteria over them and it toned it down nicely.

“Thank you” is in Night of Navy, and I tied a little knot of Sheer Calypso Coral ribbon around the left end.

The back has a place to write a little thank you note. I stamped a small daisy with Peekaboo Peach and Old Olive next to the Navy sentiment.
I love how this stands up and it would brighten up anyone’s desk! And it’s so quick and easy to make.
Have a wonderful weekend!
