Today is Jeanie’s birthday! Jeanie is my long distance friend ~ we live on opposite sides of the country. We met through Stampin’ Up! at a convention several years ago, have had endless telephone chats, and have seen each other a couple of times since then. When I traveled to Maryland to watch my grandson play baseball, Jeanie provided me with “bed and breakfast.” Perhaps my favorite part of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is the unexpected friendships I’ve made along the way. You know who I’m talking about! Love you all!
Jeanie enjoys a good fun fold and she loves ribbon! I’ve given her both in this birthday card! Take a peek ~
You can see the construction a little bit better from a side angle ~
What I used:
- Melon Mambo and Basic White Cardstock
- Lovely Garden DSP
- Spotlight on Nature and Textured Notes Dies
- Textured Floral and You Are Remarkable Stamp Sets
- Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots
- Retired In Color ribbon
This card folds flat to fit into a Medium Envelope. The back side provides plenty to writing room for your birthday message.
Jeanie, if you are reading this, Happy Birthday my friend! I hope our travels bring us together again in the near future. Sending lots of birthday love,

Jeanie will love the card. I didn’t realize you have met each other. We were going out east fora vacation last year but then was diagnosed with cancer. He was given 6weeks to 6 months but it has been 13 months and he is still with us. Anyway, great card!
🥰 Thanks, Chris!
Never mind. Just did a search and there are several tutorials. Jeannie will love her card.
Thanks, Phyllis!
Beautiful card. Where can I find directions for the fun fold?
