Day at the Beach

My friend, Diane, took me out to Folsom Lake this morning for a standup paddleboarding lesson!  It’s something I’ve wanted to try for awhile and when my grandson asked me to take him out next month when he is visiting, I thought… I’d better get a lesson first.  I loved it!  It wasn’t nearly as hard to balance as I thought it might be.  I’m looking forward to going again!

While we were out cruising near the shoreline, we saw these little sandpipers.  I knew I had to make Diane a card with these little birds and this perfect backdrop from Serene Scenery.  Tailor-made!

I used the thank you from One Big Meaning and mounted it with my new Layering Ovals Framelits. My color palette is Tip Top Taupe, Very Vanilla, and Island Indigo.  Except the little bow is Bermuda Bay…it works!

Now I need to go stretch out these sore muscles and get ready for my next lake outing!!!

Until next time, have fun stamping!
