Need a special treat to give your neighbor ~ or to adorn your Christmas table? This is a little idea I picked up at the World Card Making Day that Brian King and Pam Morris put on. It’s so cheerful and festive!
These glassine bags are available in the 2016-17 Annual Catalog. They are pretty big – 4 3/4″ x 6 1/2″ – big enough for some cookies or other baked goods, and food safe. I put chocolate covered pretzels with peppermint sprinkles in mine.
The paper is our favorite Candy Cane Lane DSP. Two strips stapled together on the top end, flagged at the bottom, and wrapped over the top of the bag are held on with the gold binder clip.
I stamped the sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas stamp set after masking off the “Christmas” with some old Washi Tape. I could have left it on, but it didn’t quite fit in my Decorative Label Punch.
The Garden Green pine boughs and the Gold Foil branches were cut from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies. They are attached with Dimensionals behind the label.
So simple, but what a cute presentation! I’m going to make a bunch more for my neighbors. We always trade cookies and goodies at Christmas and these will be perfect!
How is your Christmas preparation going? My house is finally decorated, but my shopping isn’t finished yet. The family starts arriving next Monday, so I’m on it! Can’t wait to see my daughters and grandson again!
Have a fantastic week! Be sure to check back in with me on Wednesday as it is our Pals Blog Hop for December. I can’t wait to see all the Sparkle and Shine (little hint there!)
