Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is All Creatures Great and Small. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I chose the adorable polar bears from the Beary Christmas Suite of products for my card. That little cub just looks so happy walking through the snow with her Mama!
I used a lot of the Suite on this card. Here’s what I used:
- Beary Cute Bundle (stamps + punch)
- Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder
- Beary Christmas DSP
- Thick and regular Basic White Cardstock
- Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, Garden Green, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Pads
- Basic Borders Dies
Inside:
Rough Measurements and Directions:
- Thick Basic White Cardstock, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″
- Regular Basic White Cardstock for the Snow, tree, bears, and sentiment
- For the snow, start with a 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White. Run it through the embossing machine with Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. Using the curved Basic Borders Die, crop the top portion with about 2-1/4″ on the right side, 5/8″ on the left. The crop the bottom section with about 3/4″ on both right and left. Cut the remaining into two more sections and turn the middle piece around. There is no easy way to describe this. You’ll have to play with it until you’re happy with the results!
- Glue the snowy sky and hills over a 4″ tall x 4-1/4″ wide piece of Beary Christmas DSP to fill the entire card front.
- For the tree, stamp the outline with Garden Green ink onto Basic White Cardstock, about 2″x 3″. Stamp the inside with Granny Apple Green. Fussy cut the tree with Paper Snips.
- Stamp the bears with Smoky Slate ink and Mama’s scarf with Night of Navy. Punch the large bear out with the Beary Cute Punch. Hand cut the Baby Bear out with Snips. Add dots of black Glaze Ink Pen to their noses for a little shine.
- For the sentiment, stamp with Night of Navy ink. Fussy cut with Snips.
- Add all four elements to the card front with Dimensionals. Beary cute!
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month (second Wednesday), when our theme will be The Color Purple.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
