Here’s a sweet little autumn thank you note card for you today. I am loving the cooler fall mornings, aren’t you? One of my favorite things to do is slip on a light jacket and take the dog out for a walk at daybreak. Soon it will be sweater weather and (yum) Pumpkin Spice Lattes!
I used a Very Vanilla Note Card and Envelope for today’s card. It went together quickly with a layer of Cherry Cobbler and Painted Autumn DSP. Next I wrapped a 7″ length of vanilla and gold Metallic- Edged Ribbon and secured it to the back of the Cherry layer. these layers were attach to the note card with Dimensionals.
Next you have to get out your Big Shot. Wait, what ~ you don’t have one?! You need a Big Shot if you are a card maker/paper crafter! I think I use mine on every card I make. Yes, it’s a big investment, but you get your money’s worth very quickly. If you get one as part of your Starter Kit when you join Stampin’ Up! you will get it shipped to your house for free ($$$), then you can enjoy a 20% discount on all of your future purchases for as long as you remain active. Let me know if you would like to hear more details. I would love to invite you to join my team of fun crafters!
Back to the card 🙂 I used the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies to create my pumpkin. I ran the die through the Big Shot three times – once for the Tangerine Tango outline, once for the Painted Autumn DSP that I pieced into the spaces, and just a bit of Lemon Lime Twist for the stem.
The leaves are Cherry Cobbler cut with a die from Eclectic Layers. You could also use the Leaf Punch on this! I stamped Thank You from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and cropped it with a little rectangular die from At Home Framelits.
Last, I tied a bow with the same ribbon and attached it with glue dots.
Pretty. Darn. Cute. I’ll be sending these out to online customers as a “thank you.” If you would like one, go to my online store at karenhallam.stampinup.net (or hit the Shop Now button at the top of this post) and place an order. I will mail one to you as a little thank you gift to show my appreciation.
Happy Stamping! And have a lovely weekend!

Karen,
I love your card and am casing it right now!!Only one ?, how did you get the Painted Autumn DSP pieces to stay inside the Tangerine Tango outline?
Hi Janice, Thank you! Yes, that's a good ?! I glued the Tango outline to another scrap of Tangerine Tango, pieced the DSP into the holes, then cut around the outside of the pumpkin. Since it's the same color, if the cutting isn't perfect, it doesn't even show 🙂
